Framing Lead

Overall responsibility for project management of Katerra supplied materials. These range from foundations to roofing. Framing Trade Coordinator will be specific for leading Katerra supplied material up too drywall. This position will also be required to learn and grow new techniques. Coordinating and managing crews onsite to ensure Safe, quality, and on time delivery. Trade Coordinator will work with Area managers and Directors to plan and execute project schedules and man power plans.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate manpower needs and schedules with Area Managers and ensure tools, crews and material are onsite.

  • Ability to communicate effectively schedule and forecasts for man power.

  • Ability to lead multiple projects concurrently in a specific area or region.

  • Fluid with new construction technologies and software's.

  • Working knowledge of construction best practices with multifamily and custom homes.

  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, learning and successfully working in multicultural environments.

Required Skills & Experience

  • A successful candidate will have a minimum of 15 years in construction in a leadership role in the field.

  • Proven track record of on time performance and quality installation in construction environments.

  • Ground Up multi-family experience.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Higher education preferred.

  • Training and certificates demonstrating skills in the area of expertise (Rigging, Fork Lift Cert, Fall Protection, OSHA 10

  • Able to join meeting as scheduled and ad hoc within trade and outside area of expertise

  • Ability to work in a fluid and fast pace environment.

The Family Liaison creates authentic and diverse involvement opportunities for all families to contribute to their school community. Schedule: There are part-time positions (20 hours) and full-time positions (40 hours). Please note that some evenings and weekend work may be required to support family workshops, school wide activities or district events. Supervisor: The Family Liaison Program Manager will provide ongoing support in conjunction with Principals or Assistant Principals. Essential Duties: The Family Liaison develops and implements a comprehensive program to increase and improve family involvement in support of student education. The Family Liaison works to enlist and engage culturally and linguistically diverse family groups in program activities with a primary focus on historically underrepresented communities. The duties of this classification include: * Help the school community develop a family-friendly school climate amongst staff, students and families. * Develop programs and activities designed to engage families in improving student achievement. * Support staff and families to develop strong academic partnerships. * Enhance communication between families, school and the district. * Develop and implement effective family involvement strategies to empower families as key decision makers in school governance committees such as: School Site Council & English Learner Advisory Council. * Coordinate and support school wide governance council and committees. * Promote and participate in school/ district activities and programs for families. * Recruit partners to become part of the school's family involvement program. * Organize, implement, coordinate and present family education workshops and training sessions. * Prepare and disseminate newsletters and other school communication materials for school communities. * Develop volunteer activities at school site, including coordinating family leaders, room parents, volunteers, etc. * Collect and evaluate the data of family involvement activities. * Provide support resources and referrals to families as needed. * Prepare monthly family engagement plans and maintain records on program activities. * Maintain monthly Data Director log with focal families at school site. * Attend monthly professional development sessions which are organized and led by central office. * Report monthly activities and goals to school staff and community partners. Qualifications: Education and Experience: * <li>Four (4) years of college-level coursework. (30 semester units or 45 quarter units equal one year); and * Two (2) years of verifiable experience (one year = 285 hours) of paid or volunteer work in the community with culturally, ethnically and socio-economically diverse population of parents of public school students. Such experience should include programing or activities planning and coordination and parent education. Substitutions: Additional qualifying work experience i.e. working with students at school sites, may be used to substitute for up to two years of qualifying education on a year-for-year basis.
