Fragrance Lab Technician
ATL is seeking a dynamic Fragrance Lab Technician to join our team of dedicated professionals focused on client service and quality. The ideal Lab Technician will be motivated, energetic, forward thinking, and possess outstanding leadership development and/or technical skills, organizational awareness, and a commitment to excellence.
Daily compounding of fragrance formulas
Production of finished product by adding fragrance to base ingredients
Coordination of stability samples and electronic documents
Testing and qualification of materials
Coordination of lab stock and inventory control
Ideal candidates will have an Associates or Bachelors Degree in a science-related field.
Six months of experience in a laboratory environment is preferred.
Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment with speed and accuracy while maintaining attention to detail.
Must have basic chemical education and the ability to learn and retain quickly.
Experience performing basic formulation work within tight tolerances.
Must be able to react to change positively and productively in a customer oriented environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must have the ability to work with and smell fragrances, work with live microorganisms, and/or molds on a daily basis.
Previous experience in the consumer products, pharmaceuticals, personal care, and/or food and beverage industries is preferred. Experience working in an FDA/cGMP regulated environment is preferred, but not required.
