Fractional Human Resources Consultant

General overview 

BostonHCP is seeking a talented HR Consultant/Contractor to collaborate with a client in the health and wellness space. If you’re excited to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic environment, this temporary/contract role is the perfect fit!

Background 

• 9  Fitness locations in MA, 31 in GA

• Company is heavily focused on integrations (personnel, operations, and systems) between now and 1/1/25

• HR is transitioning to Cleveland offices for 11/1/24

• team  currently managing systems/backend integrations

  • 60% FTE and increasing devoted to integration tasks

  • Team member about to go on maternity leave for 3 months

Support Needs

• First-level/Frontline inquiries & general staff support

• Conduct investigations

  • Average of 4-5 employee relations issues per week

  • Average of 1-2 investigations begin per week, typically 5-6 calls per investigation

  • Document support & handling for front-line gym managers & staff

• Workers comp

  • Ensure applications are submitted on time & employee challenges are documented in detail

• Background checks

  • Ensure process compliance with GA’s First Offender Act

• Travel

  • 95% remote, “may need to get on a plane”

  • Possibly 1 day per week in Middleton office (negotiable?) 

• Manager coaching 

  • Will be handled in Cleveland office after 11/1

• Systems

  • ADP (HRIS), Workforce Now (payroll), ADP CareerPlug (ATS)

  • MS environment - Teams, Office 360, SharePoint
