POSITION SUMMARY:

The FR Hotel Butler is responsible for providing top-of-the-line service to every guest. The individual in this position relays thorough information about all services, facilities, recreation, history, shopping, and local attractions. The Butler Coordinator assists in making reservations for all dining (on and off-site), recreation, and entertainment and making transportation arrangements (train, plane, limo) to appropriate locations. The Butler Coordinator must adhere to policies and procedures that Nemacolin has established, build positive relationships with guests and other associates, communicate effectively on all levels, and demonstrate technical and customer service skills for his or her assigned area.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Performing administrative duties as needed.

• Greeting all guests and using their names in passing by encounters.

• Answering Butler telephone and dispatch guest requests.

• Providing verbal and written information on all services and facilities to each guest upon request.

• Making dining suggestions and reservations (on and off site).

• Assist with recreation reservations (golf, spa, tennis, equestrian, etc.)

• Providing information on shopping services

• Making travel arrangements for guests (including ground and air transportation).

• Providing business services for guests (fax, copies, typing, etc.)

• Taking orders and delivering In-room dining.

• Taking requests and coordinate amenity deliveries

• Arranging babysitting services.

• Fulfilling VIP and special requests for products and services.

• Pre-calling all guests prior to arrival.

• Completing knowledge of LMS, Spa Soft, ARTS, Word, Excel and Access.

• Working as a team player with bellman, doorman, valet, and front desk, concierge.

• In room dining services, amenity deliveries, mini bar maintenance.

• Cross-training as a Concierge position.

• Maintaining 5 star/ 5 diamond standards.

• Other Job duties assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Demonstrate knowledge of local and historical attractions.

• Possess excellent communication and public speaking skills along with confidence in speaking.

• Demonstrate understanding or willingness to understand luxury facilities and services (food, wine, etc).

• Must be mature and professional and possess a knowledge of the hotel and travel industry.

• Must be able to speak English fluently.

• Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, holidays and weekends.
