Come join the team working on silicon projects that is driving more integration, lower power, mixed signal architectures and next generation silicon technology to be deployed in space and ground infrastructures.


  • Digital ASIC and/or FPGA design, implementing complex SoC blocks and SoC integration tasks

  • Participate in the design process starting with high-level conceptual and architectural discussions and ending with micro architecture and design partition within the ASIC/FPGA

  • Implement design blocks using Verilog/System Verilog

  • Participate in all phases of ASIC/FPGA design flow (e.g. synthesis, timing closure)

  • Work with backend teams to address any layout and timing issues for ASICs

  • Bring-up and validate ASICs and FPGAs in the lab


  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering or computer science
  • 2+ years of experience working with complex FPGAs and/or ASICs


  • Ability to solve complex problems including clock domain crossings and power optimization

  • Experience with latest simulation and verification methodologies

  • Understanding of data path pipelines, state machines, and arithmetic operations

  • Exposure to advanced timing closure techniques

  • Experience in Verilog, System Verilog, and/or VHDL

  • ASIC/FPGA/SoC system integration experience

  • Experience with high reliability design and implementations

  • Software design and development skills

  • Excellent scripting skills (csh/bash, Perl, Python etc.)

  • Experience with EDA tools such as HDL simulators (e.g. VCS, Questa, IES), HDL Lint tools (e.g. Spyglass), FPGA tools (e.g. Xilinx Vivado, Altera Quartus II)

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements

  • Team-player, can-do attitude, and ability to work well in a group environment while still contributing on an individual basis

  • Enjoys being challenged and learning new skills

VIEW JOBS 5/29/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-08-27T00:00 The Lead ASIC Characterization Technologist role with responsibility for driving all aspects of PHY SERDES characterization (PCIe and other high-speed interfaces) with the goal of finding potential hardware issues early. As the ASIC characterization lead, the daily activities would include: * Working with team of engineers at the ASIC/Product level to find hardware bugs, * Working with the design team to fix the bugs, reading design specs and developing/executing test plans, to increase the rate at which ASIC bugs are found and resolved. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Develop and implement electrical validation and characterization plans for high speed Serdes * Work with outside PHY IP suppliers, internal SOC design and other functional groups in formulating and driving PHY electrical validation strategies to completion. * Debug of PHY hardware related issues and work with design and other functional groups in driving resolutions to issues found. * Responsible for test plan reviews and milestone/checklist reviews * Interfaces with Architecture, ASIC, FW and Validation teams through the product development phase * Your contributions will have an immediate contribution to the company's success in our fast paced environment.
