An exciting opportunity as a FPGA Firmware Engineer is currently accepting applications in Carlsbad, CA. This is a 3 month contract position. In this role you will be working to troubleshoot and solve an issue on a new design and help manager to find the root cause of the issue that engineering team has hit a wall with. A successful candidate must have at least 3-4 years of MIPI Display Serial Interface (MIPI DSI) / Display physical layer experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Troubleshoot and solve an issue on a new design

• Assist manager to find the root cause of the issue that engineering team has hit a wall with

• Review product designs and create test solutions that maximize test coverage in the manufacturing and service environments

• Design, analyze, test, integrate, and document hardware of moderate to high complexity

• Will be working on Helmet Head Mounted (HMD) Display for Training Simulations project

• Work with other engineering disciplines to ensure the electrical design is appropriate for the project/product design approach

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field

• At least 3-4 years of MIPI Display Serial Interface (MIPI DSI) / Display physical layer experience

• Xilinx FPGA firmware development experience

• Good troubleshooting skills, comfortable with JTAG and an oscilloscope

• Must have the ability to troubleshoot on a new design product

• Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• FPGA tool suite experience using Xilinx Vivado (2023.1) and Mentor Graphics Questa Sim (2022.3)

• Xilinx Artix 7 FPGA Family experience

• Meticom MC20902 integration experience.

• Texas Instruments SN65DSI86ZXHR MIPI DSI TO Display Port BRIDGE integration experience
