Qualifications:

• Must be a current U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident of the U.S.

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Science or Engineering from an accredited institution.

• Demonstrated expertise in firmware development for Xilinx FPGA platforms using the Xilinx toolchain.

• Proficiency in communication methods such as RS232, RS485, I2C, SPI, LVDS, Ethernet, or PCIe.

• Experience with high-speed serial links, hardware debugging, and software development for embedded systems.

• Familiarity with analog, digital, or mixed-signal circuit design and analysis.

• Knowledge of high-speed digital networking, gigabit Ethernet, and avionics systems.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, and verify avionics firmware systems to support autonomous space systems.

• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to develop firmware requirements and implementations.

• Own firmware products, including verification testing and documentation.

• Develop FPGA designs and perform verification using simulation and System Verilog.

• Lead digital, analog, and mixed-signal circuit avionic designs and support controller architecture studies.

• Effectively communicate development status, risks, and challenges to management.
