Job Description Job Description Graf Research Corporation is hiring FPGA Engineers that can contribute to design, analysis, and experimentation with Field Programmable Gate Array devices. This is an on-site full time position - we are not currently seeking remote or temporary contract assistance.
Applicants for this role must be U.S. Citizens. We are open to candidates at multiple levels up to Senior Engineer as determined by experience and the number of “should have” and “nice-to-have” qualifications below. Must Have FPGA or ASIC design experience Hands-on hardware experience working in a lab setting Experience using Verilog and/or VHDL Ability to work both individually and in distributed multi-disciplinary development teams Ability to learn quickly and to collaborate with a geographically distributed team Verbal and written communications skills MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar field or BS with at least 5 years of relevant experience The X-factor: the ability to recognize the problem that is not yet solved and envision the solution that does not yet exist. US Citizenship Should Have Knowledge of FPGA device and computer architectures Experience using FPGAs from more than one vendor, including Xilinx, Intel/Altera, Microsemi, and Lattice devices Experience using testbenches/simulators/test pattern generation, assertion-based verification, model checking, or formal Boolean logic equivalence checking Willingness and ability to pursue US DoD security clearance Nice-to-Have Experience with custom EDA tools for FPGA design (e.g., Torc, Rapidwright) Knowledge of device physics, aging, reliability VLSI experience Design build and test scripting experience (e.g., via TCL) Hardware and firmware reverse engineering skills Location
