Fpanda Manager, IT Finance (Hybrid Based In Dallas, TX)

The primary purpose of this position is to provide financial support for Tenet and USPI Enterprise Applications structure. Encompassing initially Corporate Apps, Tenet facilities, and USPI Cerner for both OpEx and CapEx. Working to align USPI Acute and Ambulatory facilities as we work to bring them together into a single Enterprise Apps Organization. Total combined expense of +$300M. This position will support the Vice President IS Apps and extended leadership teams. Ability to work cross functionally across the IT structure to include but not limited to the Client Delivery organization, Clinical Informatics, Infrastructure, TPR, Cybersecurity and PMO organizations. Role will be collaborative and interface with extended financial organization including Corporate, USPI Finance and facilities CFOs. Acting as a trusted business partner by providing financial insights and analysis to support decision making and collaborating on strategic initiatives to drive business growth and transformation. Exceptional financial acumen to provide business case analysis support is required. Role requires a strategic view to proactively identify opportunities for synergies and cost reduction that are identified as the support for Applications extends across the Enterprise.

Comfortable in navigating in an environment that is unknown with ability to create structure from scratch and work across multiple financial reporting systems. Problem solving skills to identify business problems and propose solutions. Ability to gather and synthesize complex financial data into understandable terms to non-financial individuals. Critical thinking skills to evaluate information objectively and make informed recommendations. Technical proficiency for data analysis to create financial modeling and superior presentation skills with the ability to present to senior leaders.

The position will have one senior analyst reporting into the role which the manager is expected to delegate and who will have responsibility for headcount, OpEx and CapEx budgeting, forecasting, and data gathering in support of Manager.

Maintain clear communications with stake holder about deadlines and continually reassess priorities as circumstances change. Works independently with minimal supervision, prioritizes, and manages deadlines and seeks guidance from director as needed for clarification or requests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Establish framework and define unified Enterprise Applications current IT OpEx and CapEx from scratch creating a baseline to establish budgets. Communicate and gain consensus from key stakeholders.

• Define monthly reporting requirements and standard reports. Including headcount. Identify KPI's to measure success. Work with analyst on monthly and quarterly close requirements.

• Perform business case analysis on projects as required and track progress.

• System development and process improvement for integrating reporting and analysis from multiple financial systems.

• Various projects and team participation as needed based on analysis requests from the department's customers listed above.

Required:

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required; MBA or higher degree desired but not required.

• The qualified candidate will possess superior analytical capabilities and interpersonal skills.

• The candidate should also have strong communication skills.

• Knowledge of Tenet financial systems is a strong plus.
