The FP&A Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for financial reporting, forecasting and analysis in support of the Card Services line of business. The successful candidate will be able to provide analytical rigor to financial results, working with financial and operational metrics. This individual will conduct technical research to provide management with definitive financial data for use in setting and realizing objectives. Candidate should be able to produce high-quality work within tight time-frames and be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Specific responsibilities will be to support the financial forecasting and budgeting efforts, specific to operating expenses. This individual will develop insightful analyses to provide concise recommendations for leadership to influence decision-making. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Essential Job Functions
Financial planning for a segment of the business, including the forecast and budget specific to operating expenses.
Develop and maintain reporting and trend analysis for management review. Monitor current trends to validate forecast assumptions.
Work with cross-functional teams to determine reasonable assumptions that ensure the accuracy of the forecast and budget.
Recommends improvements to operating policies, procedures and processes to improve consistency, accuracy and internal controls.
Design advanced Excel models and spreadsheets.
Create presentations to present to senior leadership that clearly communicate trends and help influence decision-making.
Build effective relationships within the team as well as all levels of the organization.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required
3-5 years of years of experience in strong analytical positions required (financial services, credit card industry background preferred)

Self-starter who can work independently and effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines
Effective at building effective relationships with all levels of staff and management, within and across departments
Naturally curious, creative, possess outstanding problem-solving skills

Possess strong analytical skills, ability to grasp complex financial concepts
Outstanding computer skills including Excel, Word, Power Point
