Description The Portfolio Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the financial performance across a portfolio of brands within the FP&A team at Continuum. This position is responsible for collaborating closely with brand executives to develop comprehensive annual budgets and strategic plans that align with our objectives for organic growth and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will analyze monthly financial results, generate reporting packages, and communicate insights to key stakeholders, ensuring that brands not only meet but exceed their financial targets. By working in tandem with Continuum's accounting team, the Portfolio Manager will uphold the integrity of our financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. In addition, this role will oversee cash flow management, implement effective cash management strategies, and optimize working capital to support operational needs and strategic investments. The Portfolio Manager will lead initiatives aimed at enhancing financial operations, from sales pipeline management to vendor oversight, while also spearheading organic and inorganic growth strategies, including product development and merger integration. Responsibilities • Financial Performance Management : Collaborate with brand executives to develop and implement full-year budgets and mid-year proformas, targeting a sustainable year-over-year EBITDA growth of 10% by aligning financial objectives with strategic initiatives focused on organic growth and operational efficiency. • Monthly Performance Analysis : Analyze and report on monthly financial results, creating detailed reporting packages that communicate performance insights and action plans to brand executives, Continuum corporate leadership, and our private equity partner. Drive brands to meet or exceed budgeted financial targets each month. • Accurate Financial Reporting : Work alongside Continuum's accounting team to ensure the accurate generation of monthly financial statements by the 15th of each month, implementing and/or delivering process enhancement. • Operational Financial Analysis : Conduct ongoing analysis of key financial operations-including sales pipeline conversion, invoicing, collections, payroll utilization, job costing, vendor management, synergy realization, and earnout tracking-while identifying opportunities for operational improvements and cost savings. • Cash Flow Management : Optimize cash flow management to ensure the availability of funds for operational needs and investments, implementing effective cash management strategies to enhance working capital efficiency. • Strategic Initiative Leadership : Lead and drive strategic initiatives focused on organic growth, such as new product development, and inorganic strategies, including successful merger execution and integration, ensuring alignment with Continuum's overall strategic objectives. • Continuous Improvement and Innovation : Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing regular feedback mechanisms, encouraging innovative ideas, and adapting strategies based on performance analysis and stakeholder input. Speaks plainly and truthfully. •Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred •Demonstrated excellence in Accounting, Financial Analysis, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Accounting, and Accounting ERPs (QuickBooks, NetSuite)
