PURPOSE OF JOB:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Financial Planning Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial planning and analysis to support strategic decision-making and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing financial planning processes in a corporate environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Financial Forecasting and Budgeting: Lead the development of comprehensive financial forecasts and annual budgets in collaboration with department heads and senior management. Continuously monitor financial performance against budgetary targets and provide insights on variances.

• Strategic Planning Support: Partner with senior executives to provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making. Conduct scenario analysis and financial modeling to evaluate potential business opportunities, investments, and initiatives.

• Long-term Financial Planning: Develop long-term financial plans and forecasts to support corporate strategic initiatives and investment decisions. Assess the financial implications of strategic plans and provide recommendations for optimizing financial performance.

• Performance Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports and dashboards to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics, trends, and insights. Identify areas of improvement and make recommendations for enhancing financial performance.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including accounting, operations, and marketing, to gather financial data, assess business performance, and support decision-making. Serve as a financial liaison between different departments and provide financial guidance and support as needed.

• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve financial planning processes, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness. Implement best practices and recommend innovative solutions to streamline workflows and drive process improvements.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field - or equivalent; MBA or CPA preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis roles.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial planning software; experience with Oracle NetSuite is a plus.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
