FP&A Manager – Your Role

Your role will elevate the financial analysis capabilities of the Bank to make informed financial decisions.

FP&A Manager - Your Mission Critical Objectives

• Implement KPI dashboard and financial modeling systems
• Perform ongoing analysis of KPI dashboard, key financial metrics and financial models to support strategic decision making
• Primary responsibility and ownership of the annual financial budget and budget to actual results

FP&A Manager – Your Job Duties

• Work with management and key stakeholders to understand key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop and implement a financial reporting dashboard
• Ongoing financial reporting of KPIs to management (may also include presentation of metrics to board and investors or report to finance and accounting)
• Support the compilation of the annual financial and operating budget
• Perform analysis of budget-to-actual financial results, forecasts and financial statement analysis to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement in performance
• Perform financial analysis on potential new products and services to evaluate potential market footprint and ROI
• Assist CFO with bond portfolio management and financial analysis of performance
• Develop, implement and enhance the Bank’s internal overhead allocations
• Perform fraud analysis

FP&A Manager - Required Skills, Experience & Background

• You enjoy working both strategically and hands on as an individual contributor to establish this newly created department
• You desire to manage and mentor, growing the FP&A department
• You have prior experience in financial planning and analysis, financial modeling and forecasting
• You have very strong MS Excel and financial modeling skills and prior experience
• Experience with financial data analysis tools (ie: Power BI or related)
• You have a 4 year degree in finance, business or related

FP&A Manager - You Might Have (Desired, Not Required)

• Experience working in banking, financial services or related industry
• Prior experience implementing FP&A reporting software

You will work in the Sacramento office, with work from home day 1 day per week after completion of initial onboarding.

Compensation $130,000 to $160,000, salaried plus annual incentive compensation bonus.
