Fp&A Analyst

Job Description Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly analytical FP&A Analyst to join our finance team. The FP&A Analyst will be responsible for assisting with financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong financial and data modeling skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and excellent communication abilities. The position is WFH, with some limited travel requirements.

Critical Job Functions:

• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and a myriad of financial reports.

• Develop and maintain financial models for various business units and projects.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

• Support the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.

• Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making.

• Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or similar field.

• 1-3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking, or a data analysis role.

• Experience building or maintaining reports with large datasets in Microsoft Power BI, Power Query, Power Pivot; basic understanding of DAX and M.

• Understanding of relational databases including writing basic MS SQL scripts.

• Experience in logistics.

• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.

• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Compensation:

• $70,000 to $80,000 per year.
