FLSmidth Inc. is seeking Foundry Technicians for 1st Shift at our Pekin IL location and a $1,000 bonus if you continue to be employed after 6 months. These roles assist in foundry processes including, but not limited to, melting metal, pouring metal into molds, removing castings from molds and dressing castings. A good attitude and ability to work in hot conditions are top priorities for the selected candidate!

What You Bring

• Safety leadership

• Strong problem solving skills

• Willingness to learn (Coachable)

• High school degree or equivalent

• Previous use of power tools and fork truck experience preferred

• Solid written and verbal communication skills

• Basic computer skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks

• Must wear respirator and be able to sustain periods of extreme heat
