POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES The President of the University Health System Foundation serves as a member of the University Health System leadership team and is responsible for overall strategic planning, revenue generation, financial management, organizational development, staff management, and program operations. Working with the Foundation Board of Directors and University Health System President/Chief Executive Officer and the leadership team, the President will direct all functions associated with day-to-day operations of the Foundation, including the direction and control of its resource development initiatives, the support of its committee structure, and the management of its staff.

The President will work with donors for major gift acquisitions, foundations, government agencies, and corporations to formulate and execute comprehensive marketing, branding, and development strategies. The President ensures awareness and compliance with laws, regulations, and administrative rulings of governmental and other regulatory and advisory authorities related to these areas of responsibility. This executive also performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the mission and values of University Health System.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Bachelor#s degree is required, and a Master#s degree with an emphasis in communication, public relations, business, or a related field is highly preferred. A minimum of five to eight years of prior experience in business development, partnerships, and/or fundraising experience.

Familiar with aspects of fund development, including annual giving, major gifts, grants, planned giving, capital campaigns, corporate giving, and recognition programs. Prior experience in a healthcare setting is helpful but not required.
