Foundation Chief Finance Officer

The Chief Finance Officer is responsible for the University of Idaho Foundation's financial, accounting, and treasury operations. As a member of the Foundation senior leadership team, the position develops and implements fiscal management and reporting strategies to enable the organization to achieve its vision and mission. The position works closely with the Foundation's Investment Committee to provide timely reporting and implement key decisions around the endowment, in coordination with the Foundation's investment managers and consultant.

Duties include:

• Formulate financial policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and compliance with Board of Directors' policies, state and federal fiscal management laws and regulations, and generally accepted accounting standards

• Direct and coordinate financial statement preparations, tax return filings and disbursements of funds

• Report current financial status to the Executive Director/CEO, Board of Directors, Operating, Audit, and Investment Committees

• Prepare and monitor annual operating budgets

• Manage banking and investment consultant relationships

• Oversee the financial management of Foundation assets

• Other duties as assigned
