Georgia MENTOR, a partner of The MENTOR Network provides services for children, adolescents and teens with social, emotional and behavioral challenges as well as other complex needs. This position will develop and implement recruiting and retention tracking tools and strategies, and measure success of campaign effectiveness, creating and designing new campaigns as needed to continuously attract new Mentors/foster parents.

What we ask of you:

  • Develop and implement Marketing and Advertising strategies to meet monthly/annual recruitment targets

  • Exercise initiative, discretion and independent judgment in the performance of assigned tasks

  • Represents the company at events to recruit Mentors(Foster Parents) and holds informational meetings with daily local/regional travel required

  • Must develop and continually update marketing plan for recruiting area

  • Experience meeting/exceeding goals and tracking the effectiveness of various recruitment efforts

  • Responsible for the coordination of initial skill development of Mentors (Pre-service) Reviews and obtains all contractual paperwork with applicant families

  • Develop and maintain professional alliances and relationships that will serve to help recruiting efforts

What we require of you:

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • 1+ years of related experience

  • Experience in Marketing a plus

  • Must be willing to travel throughout multiple counties

  • Valid driver's license in good standing

  • Reliable transportation and auto insurance that complies with the minimum state requirements

The Recruiter will develop territories, increase targeted populations, develop sales plans, and develop rapport with potential candidates, and help increase awareness of the need for families. The Forster Parent Recruiter is also responsible for taking new families through the SAFE and state licensing process and an abbreviated annual renewal process of their foster care license. Responsibilities * Coordinate and engage in recruitment and awareness activities in order to recruit prospective foster parents and build community awareness relations. • Develop and implement proactive, strategic recruitment plans designed to attract and certify qualified candidates, while maintaining a pipeline of both active and passive candidates for future training and certification. • Respond to foster parent inquiries by phone within 24 hours• Develop strategies to support efforts for general, targeted and child-specific recruitment and marketing. • Understands and follows all agency and state licensing requirements and ensure foster parents' compliance with regulations at all times. • Work through and complete certification process with foster parents, including the completion of necessary documentation required• Complete parent interviews, background clearances, home inspections to evaluate suitability, safety, and well-being of youth placed in the homes.• Maintain foster parent files in compliance with agency and state regulations. • Assist in the placement process and successful matching of youth and foster parents based on the needs of referred youth and the level of training, strengths and expertise of the foster family. • Maintain professional boundaries, conduct and confidentiality and other governmental laws and regulations, agency policy and licensure ethics.• Attend all company required meetings, as well as, community meeting to provide on-going collaboration with referral sources and community providers. • Provide support to all members of the treatment team, including case manager, therapist, foster parents and youth to ensure needs are met and placement stability.• Ensure safety and well-being of all youth in care by observing for signs of abuse and/or neglect• Travel to affiliate locations to work with managers; frequent travel associated with recruitment events required• Participate in the developmental implementation of Corrective Action Plans for foster parents in conjunction with the program supervisor. • Provide services that respect each family and youth's cultural background, heritage and identity• Conduct Monthly Foster Parent record reviews; 25% each month • Conduct Monthly Foster Parent Meetings and monthly Foster Parent trainings. Qualifications Required: • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, childhood education, education counseling and psychology, or other human service, behavioral science field or public administration field.• Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a Child Placing Agency, the Department of Family and Children Services, or Non-Profit Agency• IMPACT Certification• Must have a strong recruiting mentality and a general understanding of a recruiting life-cycle from sourcing/lead generation to filling positions.• Demonstrated knowledge of vast recruiting strategies, including savvy social media platforms• Strong attention to detail, highly organized, highly energetic, positive, • Effective at cold calling, pursuing warm leads, and transforming candidates into new colleagues. • The ability to remain customer focused and use independent judgement in problem solving required• Strong interpersonal skills • Strong project management, new business development and customer retention skills a must. • A documented track record of achieving targeted objectives is required.• Possess critical thinking skills, supported by intellectual curiosity and sound business judgment• Outstanding telephone presence and superior written communication skills; team player and natural leader; competitive• A valid driver's license from state of Georgia, satisfactory driving record, and reliable transportation.The candidate will possess considerable initiative, judgment, creativity, enthusiasm and leadership ability; excellent organizational, communication, problem solving, interpersonal, and customer service skills; ability to consistently represent the agency in a professional manner; be adept in problem solving skills; able to work in a stressful, fast-paced environment; ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner and interact with people of all ages in a supportive manner; have a clear understanding of administrative policies and procedures regarding client and program management, structure, regulatory and licensing standards with ability to effectively implement them at a departmental and program level.
