This position provides direct service to both legal families and foster children and their licensed or unlicensed caregivers. Duties are varied and include tasks from transporting clients and overseeing parenting time, to assisting in case related activities such as case management and assessment of family situations. Responsibilities include conducting Family Team Meetings, service planning and documentation, report writing, testifying in court and provision of services with a team approach.
Bachelor degree in a Human Services field required. Two (2) years related training/experience in working with families involved in the child welfare system, general understanding of childhood development preferred.
Experience working with diverse economic and cultural populations. Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and/or influence people and an awareness of the importance of cultural differences within service populations required.
