Foster Adoptive Parent Recruitment

Pathway Caring for Children is currently seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Part-time Foster Parent Recruitment Coordinator. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the recruitment of foster parents within the counties served by Pathway in Northeast Ohio. The successful candidate should possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, demonstrate strong leadership abilities, and have a proven track record in community relationship development, public speaking and knowledge or understanding of the foster child / parent culture. This is a Hybrid position, that requires to work some evenings and weekends. This position would require some travel within a 2-hour radius.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Recruitment of Foster Parents:

• Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment plans and processes.

• Community Engagement:

• Conduct speaking engagements in various communities to promote foster/adoptive parent recruitment for Pathway.

• Information Sessions:

• Arrange and facilitate informational sessions.

• Attend Events and Expos:

• Attend career fairs and expos, and Pathway Foster Parent events to raise awareness of Pathway and recruit potential foster/adoptive parents.

• Assist with Media Advertising:

• Collaborate with the Marketing Department to create and deploy effective social media content promoting the recruitment of foster/adoptive caregivers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in related work experience.

• Proven leadership abilities.

• Previous experience in developing community relationships and public speaking.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Computer literate.

• Ability to work effectively within a diverse culture.

• Ability to work out of our Cuyahoga and Stark County office locations when needed.

• Possession of a valid driver's license and a good driving record.

• Automotive liability insurance.

• Safe and well-maintained personal vehicle.
