Formulation Chemist

Description:

Develop and maintain urethane product formulations and corresponding bonding systems

Develop written procedures for manufacturing to use in order to scale up the product from the lab

Perform necessary bench chemistry and set up Quality Control testing to ensure raw materials are correct, production runs are producing materials that meet customer specifications, etc.

Source raw materials for certain applications such as cheaper cost to produce product with, find new materials for new formulations, etc.

Investigate product performance issues and determine the root cause of the issue and provide technical support on how to correct the issue

Work with production to scale up new formulations

Provide technical support to customers, sales, and manufacturing
