Performs forms design system-wide. Utilizes desktop publishing equipment and integrated software packages (i.e.

Macintosh computers, Quark XPress and Adobe product software). Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within this field. Works under immediate supervision of the Forms Control Supervisor. Position is responsible for the review of all incoming requests for new forms as well as forms requiring revision.

Reviews form content for standardization and promotes consolidation of like forms when feasible. Generates proofs, tracks pending proof status from initial design through project completion and archives all documentation as required. Communicates with both internal customers and external vendors throughout process.

Provides print specifications and art files to vendors. Responsible for processing translation requests for forms offered in four major foreign languages using an external contracted translation service. Is responsible for intranet site web development and support for both the Forms Management and Supply Chain Management sites.

Maintains MacIntosh, PC computer systems and all associated databases. Assists with the coordination of print requests submitted to the Internal Print Center for production and output. Serves as back-up support to: Forms Control Supervisor Print Center


JOB REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School or equivalent required Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in forms design or related field Training: Formal training in Desktop Publishing License: NA Other: Experienced with the following software: Quark Xpress (current version 2016) Adobe InDesign (current version in use CS4) Adobe Acrobat Professional for Mac and Adobe Standard for PC Microsoft Web Developer Basic HTML and Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) JavaScript Word and Excel for PC Photoshop knowledge helpful
