Forklift Technician

Bemana is looking for a Forklift Technician in Nevada, IA to join the team of one of the nation’s largest John Deere dealer networks. As a Forklift Technician, you will perform diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on forklifts and other material handling equipment.

*This is not a temp or temp-to-hire role – if hired, you will be employed directly by the John Deere dealer.*

Position Offers

• Top Pay: salary + incentive pay with total earning potential ranging from $45,000 to over $65,000

Forklift Technician Responsibilities

• Make repair recommendations and quotes for customers

• Accurately create parts lists required for repairs

• Work with the service and parts departments to ensure parts are ordered in a timely manner

• Perform necessary repairs as requested by the customers

• Effective internal and external communication to ensure work has met customers’ expectations

• Keep clear and up to date documentation of each job completed

• Represent the dealership as a professional technician at all times

Forklift Technician Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience performing service repairs within the automotive or material handling industry

• Knowledge of IC and electric forklifts, hydraulic systems, electrical, fuel systems, and charging systems a plus

• Must have own set of tools

• Excellent communication and documentation skills required

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required
