Forklift Operator

Pay: $17 per hour

Schedule: Monday through Saturday, with Sundays and an additional weekday off.

As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in shipping and receiving operations and assist with general warehouse duties such as putting away, staging, and palletizing.

Responsibilities:

• Operating a stand-up forklift

• Comparing identifying information (Tracking Control Number) and counting, weighing, and measuring items for incoming and outgoing shipments

• Using Bills of Lading, invoices, orders, and other records as trained and directed

• Recording receipts of incoming materials and equipment

• Preparing products or materials for shipment

• Assembling shipping containers or selecting pre-assembled containers, and inserting items to be shipped using spacers, fillers, and protective padding

• Closing and sealing packages for shipment

• Examining outgoing shipments to ensure they meet specifications

• Maintaining inventory of shipping materials and supplies

• Performing general labor functions off the forklift

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 months of recent experience required, preferably in a distribution warehouse

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the entire shift
