Shift: Monday - Friday, 4PM-12:30AM

Essential functions of the position:

  • Safely load, unload, sort, stack, stage, label and transport products into and out of warehouse using forklift

  • Arranges cartons on pallets and loads/unloads trucks keeping in mind size, weight, height, etc.

  • Unloads trucks and stages freight

  • Provides outstanding service to the customer by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner

  • Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same

Required experience, skills, abilities:

  • Minimum 1-2 years recent forklift experience with ability to operate skillfully and safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment

  • Must be able to work continuously sitting or standing for long periods of time

  • Experience with RF equipment preferred

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lb.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent, several years' experience in sheetfed press printing operations and proven problem-solving skills. Job Summary Exercising independent judgment, reads docket to ensure all activities pertaining to press for 6-color and CD stockboard press are correct. Primary Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions) These are functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation. * Ensures ink, paper, plates, pressroom instructions, etc. are correct * Assists in the operation of all press systems * Mounts plates on press * Registers sheets into position * Adjusts fountains to get proper color on make-ready * Cleans press and cleans and installs press components to maintain press in working order * Performs preventative maintenance on presses such as lubrication, replacement of small parts, cleaning and minor adjustments * Maintains and reads Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs) * Sees to the proper handling and disposal of hazardous chemicals Other (Non-Essential) Functions Includes functions which are normally performed by persons holding this title.
