JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and professional individual to build their career with our Warehouse Department as a Forklift Operator. This is a dynamic role where you will be a key part of our Warehouse Team with objectives including:

  • Responsible for making room for incoming product that has been received by replenishing

  • Rotating products into assigned areas by using an electric forklift in assigned areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain all paperwork and log proper pallet locations

  • Stock product by filling slots (Replenish slots and rotate product in assigned areas)

  • Keep assigned work areas/isles clean and organized

  • Report all damages to inventory control, write up report, remove from slot

  • Follow pallet let down procedures

  • Daily inspection of equipment and safety conditions

  • Pick and load product as necessary

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Operate electric, stand-up/reach forklift and electric pallet jacks

  • Possess basic math skills

  • Must learn quickly and be able to work in fast paced environment

  • Self-motivated

  • Team Player

  • Possess strong communication and customer service skills

  • Able to withstand cold temperatures

  • Able to lift 50-75 lbs repetitively

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

JOB SUMMARY Responsible for the daily processing of outgoing mail at the work location. KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES * Ensures proper functionality of conveyor to the mail sortation system. 10% * Upon notification of full bag resets mail sortation system and pulls label from printer. 5% * Basic mechanical ability to adjust mail sortation system issues. Print and assign barcoded mail tags. 5% * Review primary sort for ongoing activity changes. Complete mailroom audits for accuracy. 5% * Lifts, moves and drops mail bags weighing up to 60 lbs. Match multiple quantity orders. 5% * Places full mail bags into the appropriate BMC cage for outgoing distribution. 5% * Weighs BMC cages for appropriate USPS charges. Moves BMC cages upon arrival of USPS into trailer for outgoing delivery. Processes and adheres mailing labels with appropriate mail rates. 10% * Also produces daily manifests and completes all necessary forms and paperwork. Processes International mail and completes all necessary paperwork associated with International mail. 10% * Load postal trucks for distribution. 5% * Manages daily resort process as required. 5% * Ordering mailroom supplies and equipment for various methods of delivery. Administer delivery surveys Communicate effective verbally and in written format with outside organizations such as UPS USPS SmartMail both by telephone and in person Mail reports – Standard A and Manifest for Kewill MMS EDS UPS and/or Clippership. 10% * Audits the bag and scale for accuracy Work with management to identify and resolve delayed in delivery issues 10% * Other duties as assigned 5% * COMMERCIAL MAILROOM EMPLOYEES Pulls boxed order from conveyor. Scans boxed order on either UPS or USPS Prints out label from computer. Matches printout label to boxed label to ensure correctness. Places labeled box onto pallet. Once pallet is full moves pallet to staging area waiting for outgoing distribution. Moves pallet from staging area to UPS/Airborne truck for outgoing distribution. Generates daily report from UPS and Airborne computers. 10% EDUCATION A. High School or equivalent B. College degree requirements: None C. Credentials requirements: Forklift Training EXPERIENCE * A.
