Description and Responsibilities
Duties shall include but are not limited to the following. This description may change to meet customer, company and governmental requirements. The proper use of all Personal Protective Equipment is mandatory
Capable of lifting 40 lbs
Previous experience in the food industry
Able to work unsupervised, as well as working together with others
Good organizational and mathematical skills
Knowledgeable in GMP and HACCP programs
Knowledge of food manufacturing sanitation requirements
Ability and willingness to follow, plant Quality, Safety and Security policies and guidelines
Able to effectively communicate with co-workers and plant management
Forklift Safety certified & capable of being re-certified
Must have experience or willingness to learn the duties listed in the job description.
Good computer skills & willingness to learn in house systems, as applicable
Willingness to take course for class 3 with air brake license
Able to work flexible hours and overtime as required
Complete daily forklift safety inspections
Supplying line with production supplies i.e. bottles, caps, cartons, pallets etc. in a timely fashion so line does not wait for supplies
Remove finished goods
Accurately recording of production data
Hand stacking and/or manual pack-off
Maintain all sanitation documents in accordance with plant quality and safety requirements
Safe handling of chemicals
Manual and/or electrical pallet jacks
Removal and empting garbage and debris
Plant cycle count and inventory control policies
Proper documentation of chemical usage
Complete the following shipping & receiving functions
Print daily shipping report
Print pick list for all orders
Receive raw materials, packaging & non inventory items
Shipping customer order complete & processing all necessary paperwork
Picking all orders with accuracy
