You’ll be: Safely facilitating the movement of finished and unfinished material through the manufacturing and production process Reviewing work orders or following verbal instructions to move pallets and containers from machines Loading/unloading material onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand Moving material from storage or work sites to designated areas Ensuring that operators have all the raw material to operate their equipment Stacking and assembling materials into bundles Banding bundles Removing empty pallets from equipment Performing duties of Shipper/Receiver, as assigned Performing other duties as assigned This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Are a trained and qualified forklift operator Have the ability to communicate in English Possess basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplying, dividing, and counting Can read and understand all safety operating procedures and use all safety features of the equipment Have knowledge of products manufactured or warehoused at the plant Have the ability to use the required personal protective equipment at all times Have at least one year of similar work experience working a 1st shift position.
