Forklift Operator / Full Time Year Round Employment

Description -

Groot Industries is looking for a safety conscious Forklift Operator to join the team at our Recycling Facility in Plainfield, IL. Typical job duties include:

• Operates forklifts, front skid steer, and front-end loaders to push recyclables onto an incline belt & load recycle materials into a hopper.

• Responsible for loading dump trucks and open top trailers.

• Will pick up garbage, clean machines, and direct traffic.

• Ensure proper care & performs routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking oil, water, and tires.

• Other duties as required

Job Requirements -

• Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day.

• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.

• Experience operating a forklift and other light equipment
