Position Summary:
Maintains an on call schedule for Domestic Violence/Forensic Nurse Examiner department, covers for Domestic Violence project coordinator when needed.

Assists with data tracking and collection as needed.

Acts as a consultant to the medical staff on difficult cases or cases where medical staff has concerns/questions/ Attends monthly community meetings SART and MDIT.

Education: Associates degree in Nursing required.

Licensure/Certification: Registered Nurse License from the State of Maryland.

BLS (Basic Life Support Certification) required. Certification as a Pediatric and Adult Forensic Nurse Examiner.

Experience: Minimum five years clinical experience in direct patient care in emergency nursing or acute care. Experience in the care and treatment of domestic violence or sexual assault patients.

Skills:
Knowledge of computer systems and data collection. Excellent verbal and written skills.

May be required to work additional hours or varying shifts to meet the operational needs of the department.
