DUTIES
Provides crew supervision and line clearing and tree trimming services for major electric utility providers
Services provided include pruning treetops, repairing damaged trees by trimming or removal as well as removing broken limbs from wires, roofs, and other objects
Directs crew members and equipment as well as planning and executing the assigned work and tasks
Responsible to supervise and assist in the proper maintenance, preparation and operation of all tools and equipment including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts
Operates as part of a crew with supporting Groundmen and Trimmer/Climber
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Drivers license required. Commercial drivers license preferred and may be required, depending on job requirements
Certificates and Licenses if necessary
Pesticide license, if required by state law
Herbicide license a plus
Line clearance certification if working near utility transmission lines
ISA Certified Tree Worker certification or willingness to obtain
Electric utility tree trimming/climbing experience preferred
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Full time hourly position. Compensation based on qualifications and experience.

Essential Functions * Report to work in uniform presented professionally, neat, and clean * Greet all guests in a friendly, positive manner. Ask questions of guests and make personal connections to make them feel they are welcome and valued * Anticipate and meet the needs and expectations of our guests, then go one step further * Perform janitorial type cleaning of the interior public areas, including but not limited to bathrooms, sweeping, dusting, mopping, windows, etc. * Assist the front desk with delivery of Rapid Checkout Folders and delivery of amenities, roll-aways, cribs, etc. to guests as requested * Assist with maintenance issues * Assist with property light building maintenance (light bulbs, toilets, key readers) * Oversee the building security, locking and unlocking the building, and patrolling of the parking lot * Transport guests in company van in a safe and professional manner * Vehicle maintenance including cleaning and filling gas tank * Perform cleaning and upkeep of exterior areas and grounds, including but not limited to trash in parking lot, curb cleaning, and basic landscaping * Perform property walk-arounds as needed throughout the shift and address all issues encountered. All trash, used towels, etc. must be picked up. Keep eyes open for any and all safety and security issues. Report any problems that need to be corrected the appropriate department or General Manager * Respond to any security issues or concerns brought forth by guests, as you are able * Multi-task as necessary.
