V&S Galvanizing is a hot-dip galvanizing service company with 9 galvanizing plants strategically located in the United States.

Our galvanizing services provide fabricated steel corrosion resistance when immersed in molten zinc at a temperature of roughly 840 ˚F. V&S Galvanizing is a galvanizing service provider that believes in safely doing what we say we will do and continually investing in our people, our equipment and our experience to ensure total customer satisfaction.

Foreman Summary:
We are seeking an energetic individual to fulfill the role of Foreman. This is full time position located at our Owego, New York facility, which currently has 42 production employees.

Responsibilities:

Open and close production areas
Prioritize work orders
Approves hours worked for all employees within their shift
Maintain a safe workplace
Coordinate manpower between work stations
Supervise stations for quality and accuracy
Responsible for reporting injuries

Requirements:

Minimum of two years relevant experience
Knowledge of the steel industry
Knowledge of protective coating
Willingness to learn our industry
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
