Ford Performance Body Exterior Team is seeking an independent, empowered and passionate Body Exterior Engineer to support the Exterior engineering of an upcoming off-road performance vehicle program

What you'll do…

Lead the design, release, and delivery of Body Exterior components and systems for Ford Performance

Manage Quality, Cost, Weight, Function and Timing (QCWFT) to support program & engineering GPDS milestones

Work with Purchasing to source commodities

Lead FSS (Full Service Suppliers) and/or other internal/external resources to deliver subject programs

Assure conformance to the Ford Performance DNA all applicable Ford & regulatory requirements

Develop innovative solutions for performance vehicles - including design, CAE analysis, and testing

Support issue resolution and design change management during the prototype build and launch builds

Interface and maintain collaborative relationship with Core Body Exterior Engineering Organization

Support current production and quality efforts

Support cost optimization efforts

What you'll do…
