Football Defensive Position Coach( Linebackers Or Defensive Backs)

Estacada High School is seeking a Football Defensive position coach( Linebackers or Defensive Backs) for Estacada High School for the 2024/2025 season.

Position will remain open until filled.

Stipends: In accordance with Head & Assistant Coaching positions based on experience & current Licensed Salary Schedule

DESIRABLE CHARACTERISTICS FOR COACHES

• A thorough knowledge of the sport or subject matter.

• Personal and moral character which will be of proper influence upon those whom they coach.

• Willingness to work with youth programs, building an aligned program K-12 that supports the community.

• The motivation to teach and encourage student athletes to realize their full potential.

• Skill and adeptness in teaching - every coach should be a competent teacher with the ability to understand the nature of those being taught.

• An efficient sense of organization.

• Leadership ability to motivate others.

• Ability to relate well with adolescent youngsters in a variety of settings.

REQUIREMENTS

• ASEP or NFHS Certification prior to first day coaching.

• First Aid or ability to obtain training.

• Prior coaching experience preferred.

• Online Public School Works training completed prior to first day with players.

• Must pass Fingerprint-based Criminal Background check that will be required at employee's expense upon offer of employment.
