POSITION SUMMARY: The Regional Account Manager leads and develops profitable growth building sales activities in a designated regions focusing on Non-commercial Sub-chains & Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), including Healthcare, Business Dining, and College & University channels. This position in particular will be focused on Healthcare Accounts.
Responsibilities will include:
Lead lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads and effectively manage your sales funnel.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate Individual, Regional, and goals and objectives.
Insures sales growth and profitability within Region's territories by implementing long range and short range sales plans and meet company objectives on specific qualifying equipment placements.
Develop specific sales strategy at the Regional Chain Account by working through the Primary Distributor, Regional Distribution Manager, National Account Managers and Territory Sales Representatives.
Maintain and balance the existing GPOs\Regional Accounts in your designated region. Communicate new products and programs to these accounts to further develop the relationship.
Develop and nurture relationships within the distribution network with focus on chain account personnel.
Communicate creative market trends, potential new suppliers, competitor's as market place evolves.
Display or demonstrate product and equipment, using equipment, and emphasizes salable equipment, product and service.
Craft sales letters, documents and proposals outlining features and benefits of proposed equipment/service/product program.
Working with the designated Channel Marketer preparing power point presentations that provide details on product, consumer and competitors data that strategically fits the accounts needs
Quotes prices and prepare sales contracts for accounts sold and prepare and conduct reports of business reviews.
Prepare and maintain sales information including sales call information, current market environment and prospective future market environment.
Join and actively participate in local, regional and national foodservice associations whose membership is consistent with overall business development efforts.
Participate in company efforts to innovate in the areas of beverage products and equipment solutions for the marketplace.
Provide sales assistance and direction to territorial sales managers with respect to sales efforts or program roll outs within the region.
Balance the relationship between NPB and the assigned accounts, including service operations, and our Territory Sales Managers and
Balance customer expectations during the execution phase of the sales cycle.
Requiremements / Education:
Bachelor's Degree is helpful or Associates' Degree including 5 years experience of Regional or National Account Manager experience
Over 3 - 5 years of previous successful healthcare foodservice sales experience.
Ability to travel daily throughout assigned territory and have a current driver's license.
