This is a part time position within our Nutrition Services Program with potential of future opportunities.

A high school diploma or equivialent is required. Job related experience is preferred.

This position loads and transports requisitioned supplies and menu items for remote sites for the purpose of ensuring

quality and quantity of food items, supplies and equipment for assigned locations.

Maintains safety and sanitation standards in assigned delivery vehicle (e.g. fueling, fluid levels, tire

pressure, cleaning, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring safe operation of vehicle and sanitation of

transported food items.

Prepares food items for delivery (e.g. vegetables, meats, pastries, salads, dressing,

etc.) for the purpose of ensuring nutritious and appealing menu items for students and meeting health

and safety guidelines.

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands:

significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, some stooping, kneeling, crouching,

and/or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 10% sitting, 60% walking, 30%

standing. The job is performed under temperature variations and under conditions with some exposure to

risk of injury and/or illness.
