Job Summary

Coordinates activities of other food-service employees. Creates an enjoyable dining experience for customers, staff and visitors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides quality customer service by providing one-on-one attention to detail.

  • Oversees and participates in the preparation and service of food and beverage items in accordance with company standards for presentation, sanitation, safety and portion control.

  • Helps plan menus.

  • Ensures timely, efficient meal service; supervises serving of meals.

  • Responds to customer complaints in person at the time of the complaint and via email for electronic complaints.

  • Trains employees; assigns and coordinates work of employees to promote efficiency and excellence in food and service.

  • Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules and expedites work flow.

  • Uses proper systems for completion of required daily/weekly/monthly reports such as inventory-cash reports-production records, payroll and time- keeping.

  • Responsible for proper cash handling as established by the Food Accounting Manual (deposits - petty cash - change funds).

  • Orders food and other necessary supplies from approved sources or purveyors.

  • Directs and participates in the overall sanitation and safety of the facility and employees in accordance with company standards and government regulations.

  • Develops sanitation schedule and ensures food-service employees adhere to the schedule for cleaning of kitchen and dining area and washing of kitchen utensils and equipment.

  • Issues written and oral instructions.

  • Help select and orient employees; oversees staff training in areas of responsibility.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

The Application Analyst is responsible for enhancing, supporting and maintaining an application(s) with the St. Luke's Health System. Responsibilities include optimization of the application through development of new functionality, testing and implementing scheduled vendor releases and system upgrades, and fixing system defects. Provide technical and functional application analysis, define system requirements and develop logical data models using best practices for build and configuration, maintenance and data integrity. Works closely with cross functional application team and St. Luke's clients by providing education on system functionality, and configuration of new tools to increase end user productivity with the application. Ensures application changes follow change management procedures and protocols, create and maintain all documentation for all assigned applications and develop, plan and execute testing for supported applications. Communicates all necessary application changes, enhancements and procedures to all necessary department teams. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide ongoing maintenance, support and development to assigned applications and implement new products. * Participates on new implementation / installation project teams. * Troubleshoot, research, and solve technically challenging problems involving integrated systems. * Tests and verifies software releases, upgrades and any changes prior to the promotion of code to the production environment. * Generate and update appropriate documentation as per policy and procedure. Including requirements, specifications, change control, end user documentation. * Provide education and training for application end user community – keeping them informed of new release feature/functionality, changes/revisions that impact the operation. * Create and route required operational and management reporting needs as required by management and regulatory agencies. * Maintain current knowledge of technology by attending appropriate continuing education training/seminars and reading related periodicals. * Familiar with process improvement and project management methodologies. * Participates in Hospital/Network Committees as assigned. * Function as part of a team. * Strong Customer Service Orientation and ability to follow through on issue resolution. * Level 2 support for Application related issues. * On-Call Support Required. PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS: Sitting for up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; standing for up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; walking for up to 2 hours a day, 1 hour at a time. Requires crouching, kneeling, and lifting of objects weighing up to 60 pounds, pushing objects weighing up to 80 pounds. Requires hand and finger dexterity to perform repairs of small equipment and to use computer equipment. Seeing as it relates to general, near, color, and peripheral vision. Hearing as it relates to normal and telephone conversations. EDUCATION: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or Healthcare Administration or equivalent work experience is preferred. TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: One to two years of General Computer experience is required. One to two years of Healthcare experience is preferred. One to two years of Revenue Cycle Application experience is preferred. One to two years PC/LAN Support experience is preferred. PC and Printer knowledge and experience is preferred.
