Base Pay: $14.00 per hour
Position Type: Contract / Full-time / 40 hours per week expected through the end of June 2021, but is subject to continued business need in an effort to support COVID-19 response.
Expected Hours of Work: Tues-Sat; 8:00a-4:30p with the ability to flex hours to accommodate business needs

Summary:
The Food Share Concierge serves as the first point of contact for the public at our Food Share location and is responsible to provide exceptional customer service when greeting community members, clients, vendors, donors, and volunteers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Serve as the first point of contact with the public through exceptional customer service with an emphasis of kindness and engagement when speaking to community members, clients, vendors, donors, and volunteers.
Coordinate, train, and direct Food Share volunteers to optimize workflow effectiveness while ensuring a positive experience.
Accept all incoming donations following proper procedure to ensure the donations are properly coded, inspected for food safety, and creating donor receipts and/or cards as needed.
Data entry.
Assist with facility housekeeping tasks as assigned (e.g. sweeping, dusting, cleaning, trash, mopping, bulletin board updates, de-icing, etc.)
Adhere to FBLC Safety standards and OSHA regulations to ensure workplace safety. When operating company equipment or vehicles adhere to safety standards and ensure others are as well.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS

Competencies: Exceptional customer service, effective communication, collaboration skills, organizational skills, teamwork, and time management.
Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent with warehouse experience preferred.
Pre-employment screening requirements: Ability to pass a drug test
Language Skills and Ability: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at a professional level with preference of bi-lingual in Spanish.
Computer Skills:
Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, with ability to perform basic IT troubleshooting. Experience with Volgistics is favored.
