Position Summary:
The Food Service Worker is responsible for preparing and/or building food items while providing customer service and adhering to food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Essential Functions:

  • Prepares and builds food items according to standardized recipes and directions

  • Properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures

  • Sets up work stations including prep tables, service counters, hot wells, steam tables, etc.

  • Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes work stations

  • Serves food to customers while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating the customers' needs

  • Replenishes food items and ensure product is stocked to appropriate levels

  • Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.

  • Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation

  • Ensures security of company assets

  • Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager


  • Previous food service experience preferred

  • Must be able to obtain food safety certification

  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills

  • Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 25 lbs

VIEW JOBS 1/12/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-12T00:00 Job Description: To provide Rehabilitation Services to Richmond State Hospital patients providing a wide array of therapeutic activities and leisure programs that are tailored to meet their individual needs and interests Responsibilities: 1. Implements Rehabilitation Therapy Programs. The following criteria needs to be met: * The minimum contact hour range for RT4 15-21 per week or as assigned by supervisor. * Activities will begin on time and be held the duration of the scheduled time. * Prescheduled absences require coverage of classes then communicated and meet supervisor's approval. * Activities will provide sufficient and therapeutic interaction between staff and patients. * Leadership and positive role modeling skills will be exhibited throughout the activity. * Will be responsible to obtain necessary educational materials and supplies to conduct the activity. 2. Plans and Develops Programs with supervisor to meet the needs and interests of patients. The following criteria need to be met: * Activities will provide a variety of skills and methods of learning. * Activities will be creative and adapted to patient's interests. * Activities are adjusted to meet changing needs of patients. * Activities will be age/population specific. * Properly complete any of the following necessary to conduct the activities: trip lists, vehicle requests and mileage, recreation fund, facility usage, .411, dietary, warehouse, and patient check request. 3. Documentation of Patient's Progress. Provide relevant and precise observations. Write legibly, using proper grammar, and completed by timeframe. Complete proper documentation in any of the following: * Active Treatment Notes * Working Patient Evaluation * Incidental Charting * Active Treatment Attendance/Participation Sheets. * Unusual Incident Reporting 4. Treatment team representative * Act as liaison and communicate with team regarding activities provided by Rehabilitation Therapy staff * Attends and participates in Treatment Team meetings * Writes/updates treatment team plans for patients assigned within time frame * Provides information into treatment plans regarding Rehabilitation Therapy * Assign patients to class/therapies * Completes annual assessments * Completes referral to vocational program * Point person for correspondence from their assigned area to the Active Treatment Coordinator 5. Activity Therapy Assessments * Conducts patient interview and completes the assessment as needed, annual or initial. * Refers to classes based on strengths, needs and interests 6. Education and Training. * Must complete all required training in-services offered by the hospital or through State Personnel. * Must obtain an additional 20 hours a year of education and training through related reading, in-services, workshops, internet research and/or classes. 7. General Rehabilitation Functions. The following is a list of job duties that may be required by the employee to perform in order to carry out their other job responsibilities. * Is able to receive and respond effectively to communication through verbal, written and/or electronic methods. * Plans, conducts and/or participates in Special Events, i.e., Fun Days, Seasonal, Tournaments, Craft Bazaars, Concerts, etc.. * Attends and participates in Rehabilitation Therapy Services meetings and committees. * Assists in the operation, maintenance and cleanliness of equipments, vehicles, and facilities. * Properly completes any of the following requests necessary to conduct activities: trip lists, vehicle request and mileage, recreation fund, facility usage, .411, dietary, warehouse and patient check request. * Conduct other duties as assigned by supervisor. 8. Maintain Assigned Work Area: To Be Assigned The following criteria needs to be met: * Maintain assigned work area by routinely checking the area a minimum of once a week for safety, repair and cleanliness. * Order any supplies and/or equipment that is needed for the area. * Maintain any forms that would require monitoring of the equipment in the area. * Repair tickets will be submitted as needed. * Hazard Surveillance Reports will be submitted on a semi-annual basis. * These duties will be completed in a timely fashion. Preferred Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college required. Course work in any one of or a combination of the following subject areas required: Adaptive Physical Education, Art Therapy, Dance Therapy, Horticultural Therapy, Music Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Education, Recreation, Rehabilitation Counseling, Special Education, Therapeutic Recreation, Vocational Rehabilitation, or a related area.
