Food Service Worker Retail - Per Diem

Job Summary

The Food Service Worker Retail is responsible for retail operational duties: light food and beverage preparation, maintaining and stocking food and accessories, cleaning and sanitizing and ensuring the accurate collection and reporting of cafeteria monetary transactions.

Essential Functions

Responsible for the accurate use of the cash register system.

Stocking cafeteria shelves.

Light preparation of food and beverages.

Serving food in retail areas.

Engaging with customers to meet their needs.

Cleaning and sanitizing of retail service areas and cafeteria.

All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education Requirements

• Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.

• High School Diploma - OR - GED - OR - Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education

Experience

• Food Service Experience

• Knowledge and understanding of how to clean and sanitize dishes, cookware, and utensils. Knowledge and understanding of how to clean and sanitize food preparation work stations.
  
  Assist in the food preparation process by cutting, chopping, slicing, and washing vegetables, meats, and other ingredients. Follow all food health and safety requirements.
