Requirements / Qualifications

Prior experience in food preparation and serving is desirable, preferably involving institutional portions and procedures; equivalent to completion of twelfth grade; or any combination of training and/or experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities.

*Must be able to pass the district's Food Service Worker exam.

Upon offer of employment, individuals will need to complete an application for a criminal background clearance through the Department of Justice. Authorization to employ cannot be granted according to state law until the criminal background clearance from DOJ/FBI has been received. Also, upon offer of employment, individuals will be given information to complete a Food Handler's Certificate.
