Welcome to the Banta Unified School District, where we are proud of our long history in education. The district is one of the oldest districts in the county, having been founded to serve area students in the late 1800's. Through the years Banta has remained a small K-8 school district focused on meeting the needs of its diverse student population. Today, Banta is a three school district, with Banta Elementary School located just east of Tracy, STEAM Academy and River Islands Academy located in Lathrop. As our district evolves we continue to adapt in order to best prepare our students for the future. We are a growing district with the recent opening of a large housing development within our attendance area and the continued interest in Banta Elementary as a school of choice for families. Job Summary

Under direct supervision of the Director of Food Services, coordinate and oversee the delivery and distribution of food, non-food and equipment items in the Food Services Warehouse and kitchen sites. Pick up and deliver food transport units to kitchens and school sites in the District; deliver to catering and meal contracts.
