Performs supervisory functions necessary for the overall control of the patient trayline. Ensures competent, efficient and timely performance of duties and assignments for this position and all personnel assigned to these areas.
Must meet established daily deadlines with accuracy and quality performance. Manages within allocated department budget for supplies, salaries, food items, etc. Maintains compliance with University Health System and Food Service Department policies/procedures, especially those pertaining to inpatient Food Service, its sanitation and safety. Maintains good guest and patient working relations.
The ability to read, write and speak English and do simple arithmetic is required. High School graduation or its equivalent is required. Five years or more of Patient Food Service experience is required.
Must keep current any registration and licenses as appropriate to work duties.
