As the Project Manager you will be responsible for directing and coordinating activities of our Food Service Contract on Fairchild Air Force Base. This will include the hiring and training of persons with disabilities with the goal of giving them the skills and experience to fully participate in their communities through employment. You will also participate in the development and coordination of the quality assurance programs to ensure the department is meeting contract standards. This role will assist in the marketing of the program to other organizations that work with people with disabilities. The Project Manager establishes, implements, and directs training programs to ensure the maximum effectiveness of the department's effort.

Education/Experience

  • We prefer someone with 3 to 5 years of experience working with people with disabilities or other barriers to employment with 2 years in a management role.

  • Experience in the professional food service industry is preferred but not required.

  • A basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Software and using personal computers, and a willingness to learn is required.

  • You must have respect and empathy for individuals with disabilities.

Other Requirements

  • You must pass a criminal history background check based on our standards.

  • Must have or be willing to obtain an enhanced ID or passport to gain base access

  • You must have a valid driver's license and be at least 21 years old. Your Motor Vehicle Report will be reviewed to determine if you meet our safe driver standards.

  • Available to work flexible hours. Crews are scheduled for day, evening and weekend shifts. While the Project Manager is not required to be available all shifts, occasional availability to engage with evening and weekend shift crew members and respond to emergencies is required.

  • You will work on a Military Base and your eligibility for employment will depend on passing the military background check.

Compensation and Benefits

  • This position is a salaried exempt position with an annualized salary range of $45,000 to $52,500. Pay is issued every two weeks.

  • Skils'kin pays on your behalf an additional fringe rate towards options for medical, dental, and life insurance and 401(k) retirement savings.

  • You will also earn paid vacation and sick time.
