This individual, under the leadership of on-site management and/or supervisors, will coordinate the activities of workers and/or service employees engaged in food operations or services. Understands and follows all policies and procedures.

Assists in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees. Assists in monitoring employee productivity and provides suggestions for increased service or productivity. Responsible for the supervision of day-to-day activities of subordinates and assigns responsibility for specific work or functional activities as directed by on-site management and/or supervisors.

Responsible for orientation and training of employees. Performs day-to-day assignments in addition to supervision duties. Works with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service and problem resolution.

Takes an interest and initiative in the development of the foodservice team. Attends all allergy and foodborne illness in-service training. Complies with all HACCP policies and procedures.

Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner. Complies with all hospital safety and risk management policies and procedures.

Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.

Maintains key control of operations and responsible for activities to ensure opening, closing and daily procedures are completed. Serves as working lead coordinating activities of workers or service employees engaged in food operations or services. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred. One or more years of related work experience.

VIEW JOBS 2/24/2021 12:00:00 AM 2021-05-25T00:00 Pharmacy Technician I assists pharmacists in preparing (non-sterile) and distributing medications, restocking automated dispensing devices, crash carts and fire medic kits, processing patient charges and credits, and maintaining the drug inventory. They work only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist and do not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a registered pharmacist. Procures and distributes medication orders per physician request, pharmacist request, or prearranged work assignment according to established policies, procedures, and protocols. Fills physician orders, care packages, medication carts, or stock requisitions accurately. Replenishes medications in crash carts, fire medic boxes, and automated dispensing equipment. Delivers/tubes medications and supplies to patient care areas accurately per established schedule. Maintains adequate stock of medications and supplies according to established policies and procedures. Assists in orders, receiving, unpacking and storing drugs and supplies in appropriate locations. Rotates stock to ensure use before expiration date. Identifies and replaces outdated and unusable drugs. Restocks medication dispensing areas. Prepackages bulk medications in unit dose packages. Contributes to the effective operation of the department. Picks up items and medications for return from patient care areas when on delivery rounds. Enters charges and credits for patient medications accurately. Generates reports, pick lists and labels as required. Answers the telephone, identifying self and department, directing the call to appropriate personnel. Answers requests at the window and makes stat deliveries where requested. Maintains logs, records and other required documentation accurately. Files documentation in appropriate locations. Participates in the peer review process and completes a self evaluation due one month before the evaluation date. Maintains competence required for current job title/position. Attends pharmacy staff meetings. Participates in orientation, education and training programs. Reviews literature and other materials as assigned. Completes all competence/skills assessment requirements. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. High school diploma or equivalent. College courses desirable, but not required. 2-3 years of pharmacy technician experience preferred, but not required. Pharmacy Technician Registration through the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy.
