Food Service-Gdr

Job Summary:

• Service of customers in the Greenview Dining Room Food Service located in Somers Hall. Students rotate work areas serving on hot food line, restocking hot and cold lines, working in the dish room, checking IDs at the entry, running the cash register, putting away stock, and wiping tables clean, wiping counters, cleaning up after meals to prepare for the next meal period.

Required Qualifications:

• No previous experience required

• Must be able to be exposed to heat, water, steam, dish soaps and other cleaning agents.

• Must be able to reach over a counter and push food carts.

• Students are not required to work over college breaks but must be able to work some weekends and also may be required to work snow days and Community Days.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a current or incoming CSS student

• Federal work study eligibility is required

Special Instructions to Applicants

• Students will be given a work shirt upon hire but will need black pants. Blue Jeans, Yoga pants or sweatpants are not allowed.

• Students are also recommended to bring a pair of non-slip shoes, otherwise no slip shoe covers will be provided.
