Compensation
This is a full-time salaried position with an annual salary range of $42,432-$45,028. Because of our strong commitment to equity and growth, Impact does not negotiate salaries. Salaries are determined based on years of experience.

In This Position, You Will Be Responsible For:
Meal Service
Serve breakfast and lunch on time. Food comes prepared so this is primarily heating food according to standards and distributing to classrooms.
Maintain a clean, organized, hazard-free kitchen environment focusing on sanitation and quality control. Operate equipment safely and efficiently, and monitor for needed repairs.
Maintain accurate records and receive food deliveries.
Duties as assigned.
Family & Student Engagement
Maintain a warm, friendly, and organized front desk
Maintain positive relationships with families with a customer service orientation, addressing family and student needs as they arise throughout the day and throughout pick up
Warmly welcome students to the school during arrival and ensure the campus is open and ready to serve students

Operations
Make copies of paperwork as needed
Maintains a clean, neat and highly functional campus by organizing student artwork, conducting regular building and site walkthroughs, coordinating with custodial personnel and cleaning up student accidents when janitor is unavailable.
Collaborate with Director of School Operations
Duties as assigned.

Organization and Efficiency: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain a well-organized and functional workspace. This includes coordinating food service operations, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring a clean and safe campus environment.
Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff members. This role involves interacting with various stakeholders and addressing their needs with empathy and professionalism.
Adaptability and Collaboration: Flexibility to handle unforeseen challenges, adapt to changing situations, and work collaboratively with team members, including the Director of School Operations and other staff. Being proactive in identifying areas for improvement and actively contributing to the smooth functioning of school operations is crucial.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
1-2 years general management and/or school operations experience a plus
Previous start-up experience and/or experience in a high-performing school a plus
Ability to speak Amharic, Spanish, Somali, or Tigrinya a plus
Prior to the start date of employment all employees need to obtain clearance on a criminal justice fingerprint and background check.
Prior to being made an offer, the hiring manager will ask candidates to complete a character and fitness form from the Washington State Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction.
License/Certification
Must have or be eligible to obtain a CPR certification
Must have or be eligible to obtain a food handler certification
