Responsibilities

  • Execution of Compliance Programs which include, but are not limited to: Monitoring adherence to USDA regulations, such as Sanitation Standard procedure. (SSOP's) - Operational and Pre-operational Verification
  • Perform sanitation audits and process deficiencies through systems- Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) coordination, verification and training
  • Complete necessary reports and documents that address above issues

  • Execution of the Quality Programs which include, but are not limited to:

  • Specification checks, Process Control, Customer Complaint Investigations

  • Product Dispositions, Process Development & Quality Troubleshooting
  • Supply aide and support to production management

Qualifications

This is a Third shift role. Monday

  • Friday & Saturdays as needed.
  • Three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

  • Must have basic knowledge of computers including Microsoft

  • Outlook and Microsoft Excel

VIEW JOBS 1/18/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-18T00:00 The Quality Inspector performs incoming and final inspections on parts, finished products, components and assemblies manufactured by ISI or supplied by outside sources to ensure compliance with required engineering specifications and/or applicable standards. The Quality Inspector will also be involved in the disposition of components/subassemblies returned for complaint investigation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Basic Reading and interpreting blue prints and engineering documents to learn design of product and materials orientation. * Use available computer programs to document inspections (Master Control, SAP, PDM Works, Microsoft Excel) * Capable to confirm orders in SAP for sub-assemblies and equipment * Identifies and communicates existing and potential quality issues * Able to complete inspections at pace that supports production demand * May perform other duties, from time to time, as assigned by supervisor * Document and process nonconforming product (NCP) * Performs End of Line inspections * Complete inspection of mechanical and electrical components on assigned product(s) * Responsible for reviewing Device History Record (DHR) to ensure manufacturing documentation is complete * Must learn product assembly and quality standards quickly in order to complete comprehensive incoming or end of line inspection. * Communicate quality, safety, or other concerns to team members, manufacturing engineers and supervisors * Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: * High School diploma or equivalent * Knowledge of the proper use of inspection gauges and test instruments * Ability to read blue prints and schematics as well as read gauges. * 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment. * Ability to operate a computer to use Windows, Word, Excel, Email. * Must be able to meet physical requirements of the job: lift up to 35 pounds, complete assisted lifts of 35-50 pounds, push or pull containers on a pallet jacks, repetitive bending and stooping, and may require occasional lifting overhead. Preferred Qualifications: * Knowledge of Quality Systems as they relate to ISO and FDA. Two years technical school or college course equivalency * SAP preferred * 1 years in an inspection role, preferably in an environment regulated by FDA. * 1 years of hands-on experience in quality inspection and the use of precision gauges.
