Description

Position Summary:

The Food Production Supervisor supervises inmate workers to ensure that meal and food items are prepared in accordance with production plans. Trains workers in methods of performing duties and assigns/coordinates work to promote efficiency of operations, along with sanitation of the facility and maintaining personal safety. May requisition supplies and equipment to maintain inventory levels. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Essential Functions:

  • Conducts and/or attends daily shift huddles to communicate daily operational priorities, safety and security briefs

  • Supports daily schedules (if applicable), work areas, and assignments for inmates and/or Aramark food service workers and cooks

  • Supervises preparation and serving of meals while ensuring proper portion and special dietary requirements

  • Trains and guides inmates and staff on job duties, proper food safety and sanitation procedures, cooking methods, etc.

  • Oversees the completion of tasks

  • Reviews monthly menu, conducts inventory, and ensures that the appropriate product is ordered

  • Adheres to security procedures to facilitate the safety of yourself and others including ensuring that all kitchen tools and equipment are returned to their designated secure area

  • Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards customers, clients, and co-workers

  • Instills and monitors clean as you go culture with all assigned workers

  • Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation

  • Completes production paperwork and/or sanitation paperwork essential to be in compliance with Aramark and facility procedures

  • Ensures security of company assets

  • Communicates skillfully both written and verbally

  • Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one (1) year of food prep or related work preferred

  • Previous supervisory experience preferred

  • Previous experience interacting with inmates a plus

  • Ability to motivate and supervise inmates and/or team members to attain quality and quantity of food production in a correctional work environment

  • Must be able to obtain a food safety certification

  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision

  • Ability to exercise good judgment and tact

  • Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and policies

  • Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 25 lbs

  • Must qualify for and maintain correctional facility security clearance

Job Brief: We are looking for a Brand Associate to help us increase our sales revenues, maintain customer relationships within an assigned geographical area, and spread awareness of the Curaleaf brand in the community. In this role, we seek outstanding organizational and sales skills. The Brand Associate will work closely with management to ensure goals are set and met. This position will require brand exposure through company-approved social media channels. The fact that certain duties may not be listed does not limit the assignment of additional and/or other duties. * Maintaining and developing physician relationship * Meeting set sales targets to increase revenue * Organize and analyze market research * Promote brand awareness within the community * Submit required reports and or assignments as required * Responsible for analyzing and maintaining promotional and event budgets * Work closely with in-dispensary staff for events and traffic-driving promotions * Finding ways to ensure the efficiency of marketing initiatives * Promote the brand through company-approved social media platforms * Set up and break down of community and industry events * Represent brand using Professional Business Attire and presentation at all events/meetings * Effective implementation of sales and marketing strategies * Meet with patients and potential patients to educate, address concerns, provide brand and product information * Discover local marketing opportunities for the brand * Present products and services to prospective patients and physicians * Participate in industry or community events (e.g. trade shows) to cultivate patient relationships and promote brand exposure * Assess sales performance * Monitor competition within assigned region * Prepare and submit reports to the Director of Marketing and Regional Brand Manager Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements * Experience in sales & marketing is preferred * Social media and computer savvy * Ability to create and curate social media content * Familiarity with Hootsuite * Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue; field sales experience is preferred * Ability to effectively implement sales strategies and use performance KPIs * Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Salesforce is a plus * Excellent communication skills * Organizational and leadership ability * Ability to be productive independently as well as in team setting * Problem-solving aptitude * Valid driver's license * Physical ability to stand for multiple hours and carry at least 20lbs object * Physical ability to drive for prolonged periods of time * BS/BA in Business, Marketing or a related field preferred * Travel within the state of Florida, 50-75% (local region) * Must reside in Orange County or Volusia County Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. Recent and direct experience working in a communications position within sales or marketing. Work experience may be substituted in lieu of education and/or experience requirements. Working Environment: This position will be required travel within the designated region to meet with Physicians, visit the dispensaries as well as attend patient-focused events and community events.
