We arenow hiring for Food Preparers to work in our flight kitchen located at the Seaqttle-Tacoma International airport. This position is represented by a labor Union and is covered by one or more collective bargaining agreements. You will need to remain flexible in your shift and days off, as we may be required to change your schedule from time to time to meet production needs, requirements of the industry, or to accommodate a shift bid in accordance with the union contract. This position starts out at $12.32 per hour and you will be paid weekly. Our benefits include free, hot and healthy meals daily, paid vacations and holidays and 401K with company match. Medical, dental and vision insurance is also available if you would like to enroll. These benefits will start on the first day of the month following your 60thday of employment.

A Food Preparer prepares meals for various airlines by cutting, chopping, and wrapping dishes and meals and setting up the food carts for delivery.

Job Specific

Requirements:

  • Pay the one-time union initiation fee of $75. This amount will be broken down into payments
  • Pay the monthly union dues of $46.50. This amount will be deducted automatically from your pay check the first pay period of the month and starts 60 days after your first day on the job

Our Employees Must Be Able to:

  • Work assigned schedule which may include multiple shifts, weekends and holidays
  • Work overtime when required
  • Arrive to work on-time
  • Handle fish, beef, pork,poultry, shellfish and other food products
  • Complete paperwork
  • Communicate with Supervisors and co-workers
  • Follow directions
  • Work as a member of a team

EnvironmentalRequirements:

  • Will beexposed toextreme temperature changes and noise
  • May work in a cold room of 40 degrees or less for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, move product, equipment andsupplies up to fifty(50)pounds
  • Regularly stands, bends, lifts and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours

Responsibilities * Presents the Company's value proposition to clients concerning various company products and services and uses prescribed selling techniques. * Conducts a thorough in-person interview with potential clients, using the company's propriety tax software application. Delivers exceptional customer service by anticipating customer needs and considers the impact of all decisions/actions on the customer. * Answering client calls via our national call center routing system. * Completes all related tax forms in accordance with policies, and in compliance with legislation and regulations. Furnishes taxpayers with sufficient information and advice to ensure correct tax form completion. * Consults tax law reference materials to determine procedures for preparation of atypical returns. * Answers questions and provide future tax planning to clients. * Reviews financial records such as income statements and documentation of expenditures to determine forms needed to prepare tax returns. * Researches tax related questions and issues, and responds to clients appropriately and within a timely manner. * Resolves client complaints, or refers situations to supervisor (as appropriate) for resolution * Audits all tax return forms for accuracy and completeness (i.e., client signatures).
